As I recall most tend to believe that before the flood there was a sphere of ice or water surrounding the planet. Ovulation confusion any advice?

Hubby and I have been ttc off and on for the last 2 years or so. I had a miscarriage last March and since then I have had regular periods which is awesome for me since i had always been irregular. I am on metformin for insulin resistance which is probably whats making me have a period and helping me to ovulate but im a little confused this month. I was averaging about 33 day cycles but this last period I was a few days late and calculated that im about a 35 day cycle. My LMP's for the last three months were: April 1st, May 3rd, June 9th. Im supposably to ovulate on June 30th but the past few days Ive had a lot of clear stretchy discharge. It seems real watery and its clear. Am I gonna ovulate sooner or is this normal before the actual O day? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Spilled soda on wire?

After years of use, my laptop charger (Toshiba brand) has begun to fray near where it connects to the laptop. I ordered a new one yesterday but it will take 10-14 business days to get here. Tonight my cat was sleeping on the desk next to my soda while I was on the computer and it spilled. The only part of the computer it touched was the few wires sticking out of the charger, it just splashed them. I turned the power off the laptop and unplugged it and all external devices and cleaned up the soda. Can it start on fire without being plugged in/on? This is my biggest concern at the moment. Ive had 3 positive pregnancy tests. One yesterday and 2 today. Why am I so damn horrible in math?

I'm 15 and am currently attending a high school continuation program that is an online class. I failed algerbra 1 and barely got out of algerbra readiness in the 8th grade with a C-. I have been horrible in math since the 2nd grade but thanks to our horrible educational system, they passed me again all the way to high school. People say logical thinkers are usually good in math. Here's the thing. I AM a logical thinker. I can identify solutions to real world problems others can't see. I even applied the "In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king" analogy to Susie Orman since I don't get why she is so popular. But that's not the point. I don't get why nothing ever clicks to me in math. I can't improve. I never get better. I forget things very easily and even if I take notes, when I get home, the notes look like someone else wrote them. I HATE studying because to me it never works. And I don't like being tutored by my brother. It's just the way I am. My brother is EXTREMELY smart in math but I hate being tutored by him. One of the things that REALLY REALLY PISSES ME OFF about math is how frustrating it is to me. My anger issues get in the way of me trying to solve a problem. I often get to the point of breaking things and have to calm myself down in class whenever I raise my fist to smash my desk with. I even get to the point of destroying my self-esteem by telling myself how much of a failure I am. I even CRY because of math. I CRY. A 15 year old man (I look like a friggin' 20 year old) CRYING. Then after finishing the assessment, I go down to 160!!!!!!! It doesn't stop there. I get back to 170 and the next assessment brings me down to 154!!!!! Thats FAILING!!!!............. I need to calm down. So as you can see, math is a ***** to me. It messes with my life. Everything is going fine until math comes along and screws everything up. Just like it always does. My Mom pretends to care and she just makes things worse. Also the person that watches us when we are in class bugs the hell outta me. Hi I am a little confused on my due date. My last period was 1/29. My lmp is saying my due date is Nov 5 and I have had 5 ultrasounds that all say different dates. Based on vaginal ultrasound at 6 wks my due date is Nov 4th. Based on regular ultrasound at 6 wks my due date is Nov 2 or 3! Based on ultrasound at 10 wks my due date is Nov 1 and based on ultrasound at 16 wks my due date is Nov 2 and based on ultrasound at 20 wks my due date is Nov 3. You should ask for another scan. Were your scans done viginally? When i was 7 weeks they did a scan via my stomach and couldnt see anything at all again at 8 weeks could only see a sac. My uterus was tilted towards my spine so i requested an intetnal ultrasound and they seen a 8 week sac fetal pole at 150 beats per min heart beat. Dont give up hope ask for another scan

It sounds like the test was negative, but ovulation probably occurred within 12-24 hours from that (either before or after). You need to have sex once you see a positive, and again each day for the next 2 days. (just to be sure!)

My LMP was May 21st. I have no idea how low my cycle is but if its 28 days I was supposed to start on the 18th of june but if I am 30 I am suppose to start today. Well on the 18th of june I had some spotting and discharge. At first it was light red with mucus in it. Like a clear mucus. Then it turned light pink. Lmp and conception date don't match early scan date?

I had my lmp on 16/4/11 and had sex on several occasions between 25 - 30/4/11. I was also on the mini pill but had forgotten to take two. The midwife gave me an edd of 14/1/12 but I had cramping so went for an early scan. The internal scan said I was 5 weeks (when I thought I was 7) and there was only a yolk sac and a corpus luteum. This gave me an edd of 27/1. I have to go back this Friday for a second scan but am now panicing incase something is wrong with the pregnancy. Which date should I believe and what is a corpus luteum? Sac is measuring 2 weeks behind from LMP but doc cant see a fetal pole, yolk sac or heartbeat.?

Ok a few weeks ago I went to the doctor to confirm my pregnancy was in my uterus and not my fallopian tube, for I was at risk for a ectopic pregnancy. I shoukd have been 7 weeks from my LMP, my sac was measuring 5w4d.. He couldnt see a fetal pole or yolk sac or detect a heartbeat. So he drew some blood to check my hcg levels and had me come back in 5 days for another sonogram. When i returned for my follow up scan my sac was measuring 6 weeks exactly, but still couldnt see a fetal pole, yolk sac or heartbeat.. But kept informing me that my uterus is VERY tilted. My hcg levels were pretty high so he wanted to check them again. He sent me home called me the next day with the blood results and my levels were rising. But he told me since he didnt see anything he wasnt sure if this is going to be a successful pregnancy, but said hes not ready to do a dnc yet, so im basically just suppose to wait and see.. I personally think this doctor is a quack. So mabe a i just ovulated late in my cycle and everything just wasnt developed yet??? Has this happened to anyone?? Any advice on what I should do next??? I want to get a second opinion from another doctor but just want to see what others experiences has been. If my sace is measuring two weeks behind from my lmp then it should be measuring right about 8 weeks this week. Should I go ahead and make another appointment or wait until my sac should be measuring closer to 10 weeks. Thanx in advance.

I went in for a sonogram and i was suppose to be 11 weeks. They did a test to measure the fluid behind the neck to check for down syndrome. Ok well i can view all results online and they said with the calculations on that day i was 11 weeks 6 days. So my question is would i go by what the doctors office said i was based off lmp or what the people running the test concluded. It's a 6 day difference. I know it's not much of a difference but that would put me into my second trimester which i've been waiting for so i can tell everyone.

What to do with spare bedroom?

Since our kids prefer to share a room we have a spare. It's gone from everything, playroom, guest bedroom, office, entertainment room. Now it's kinda a mixture of all the above, it has a bed & entertainment center w/tv dvd etc & an office desk, computer, file cabinet etc & even my boys have a spot where they keep their electronic devices like psp's & such, and the closet acts as a winter storage, and freight supply warehouse. If your having that much unprotected sex chances are your pregnant. You were having sex around your ovulation time so take the test if you miss your period. And don't let anyone tell you the dollar store tests are garbage. They work like all the other expensive ones. I used them and so did my two friends and we all have a baby now. Empty gestational sac at approx 6 weeks?

I have now had two ultrasounds and both ultrasounds are showing an empty sac. My last ultrasound was last Friday. The sac was measuring 6 weeks 3 days but all that was in it was what they think is a yolk sac. I have PCOS and my periods are very very irregular. If we go by my LMP then rightly I should be about 9 weeks. They were guessing I conceived around April 19 which is no possible. I was on my period for about 20 days straight and my husband and I were not having sex. The only time I could have possibly gotten pregnant was at the beginning of May. Which would mean by right Im probably actually no more than 4 or 5 weeks pregnant. And an ultrasound wouldn't show anything this early, right? I guess what I am asking is has anyone else had a situation with ultrasounds showing an empty sac and then everything being ok? This is my 5th pregnancy.... I lost the previous 4. So this is a huge deal to me and I am walking on pins and needles. Any personal stories, experiences, anything anyone might have to help build some hope would be greatly appreciated.

ok so me and my husband are ttc baby #1 after a miscarriage in Dec. My lmp was may 9th thru the 16th. my lp is 14 and I ovulated on the 25th of may. we had sex from the 19th - 21st then again the 23rd - 29th then again on the 31st. I spotted a very light pinkish discharge but only when I wiped on the 5th of june. My expected period was june 8th but it is now june 12 and still no period. for the last 3 or 4 days I have been sick to my stomach, very hungry, tired, and my back has been killing me.... I took a test on the 8th but no result showed up. so I took another test on the 11th and there was an extremely faint line on the test. Scared to go to the doctor :(?

He told me he didnt thinj this would be a succesful pregnancy but wasnt ready to offer me a d&c yet. This doctor has been wrong with 3 other things that he has told me. I have an appointment with a different doctor in 2 days seeing as its been almost 3 weeks since my first appt and nothing has happened and i still have all my pregnancy symptoms. Its been 11 weeks since my lmp but since my sac is measuring small it should be measuring 9 weeks. My questions are. Could the doctor just not have been able to see my baby because my uterus is so tilted? Could I have ovulated later in my cycle, and thats why my sac is measuring small? What do you think the chanxes are of tge doctor seeing a heartbeat when I go in 2 days. Im so scared and nervous and and confused. Please help.

Question about interview/job at krogers?

So I applied at krogers and a family member of mine who retired from krogers and had worked there 20+ years called the store manager and got me an interview with him. The same day she talked to him they called me in for an interview on monday which was three days ago. Bleeding/Spotting 9 Weeks Pregnant?

I will be 10 weeks pregnant tomorrow according to my LMP. I had a scan when I was meant to be 7 weeks 5 days, but scan showed baby was measuring 5 weeks 4 which worried me a little bit. I worked out from my LMP that my due date is 15th January but my doctor gave me 17th January. Apart from that everything was fine. On wednesday night where I was 9 weeks 3 days I noticed a very small amount of brown bleeding but only when I wiped. I went hospital thursday and they booked me a appointment for a scan on monday. Then thursday night I had 3 small brown clots of blood.. they was sort of stringy (SORRY TMI) then friday I had hardly anything most of the day but after i had a bath in evening i noticed a small amount of red blood which only lasted 10 minutes then turned brown again straight after. today ive had just brown when i wipe and its really only spotting. all the bleeding ive had (red and brown) has been not much when i think about it, nowhere near as much as a period. i have had a miscarriage before at 6 weeks pregnant and it was heavy bleeding and abit of pain for 5 days. im just very worried still, ive convinced myself im going to lose the baby, or that ive had a missed miscarriage :-( . im convinced im going to go for a scan on monday and be told my babys gone for the 2nd time. has anyone got any similar stories where everything's been fine just to reassure me abit?

6 week scan and no fetal pole or heartbeat?

I had a miscarriage earlier this year so the OB said I could have an early scan to reassure myself. Well this back fired on me because its stressing me more than helping me. I was 6w2d friday. I had a positive pregnancy test on 5/25. They showed me as 5 weeks pregnant on the scan which is impossible based on when I got the positive test. The tech called the Dr at the hospital u/s into the room and even the Dr said based on those dates (LMP and BFP) it didn't look good. I had blood work and will get the results tomorrow (had blood 10 days prior so willhave a # to compare it to). And I have to go back next Friday for another scan. I have prepared myself for the worse but want to know if anyone had this happen with a good outcome? Oh the tech did think she saw a flickering and my husband said he saw it too when she pointed it out. But what has me upset is that that the Dr said what he saw was not a 6 week pregnancy since there was a sac and yolk but no fetal pole. After the Dr left the room the tech told me not to loose sleep over what the Dr said because she saw a nice healthy sac. The other thing is she did both an abdominal and vaginal scan. The abdominal was actually clearer (Same thing happened when I went ot the ER with my miscarriage). She said it was because of the angle she had to do the vaginal. She said it was because I had a tilted uterus. I read somewhere that can effect what you see?

You can assume that your estimated due date is correct - just keep in mind though that it's still just an estimate of when the baby may arrive, and anywhere from 37 to 42 weeks is considered full term. Less than 5% of babies are actually born on their exact due date (most first time moms go about a week overdue on average)

that would have you ovulation on or close to the 9th sperm lives for up to five days so having sex on the from the on the 4th-6th unprotected would definitly put you on a good chances on being pregnant. the 13th -16th would be too late. but remember even when your trying the chances of concieving any month are about 30% but i would bet your pregnant probally with a little girl (being that you had sex days prior to ovulation and that they are the ones the live the longest) look up shelttes method. i used it with my son a daughter good luck sweetie.

Me and my father havent had the best history together. we've always gotten along better when we dont live together. but after a really hard divorce(i was in a abusive relationship) i had to move back home with my 2 year old daughter. we lived in a nice 3 bedroom place with room enough for everyone, and a huge yard a dog a cat ect..well like i said me and my dad dont get along. hes the type of father that drinks his beer when he comes home from work(construction worker, 48 years old) and watches the weather channel eats dinner, showers and goes to bed. but sometimes...out of nowhere he'll be a complete jerk without warning. The last night that i lived there i had put my daughter to bed, both of my parents where laying down in bed. and i got on their computer(my bf let me use his internet port cuz my parents didnt have internet wayy out where we lived) and was talking to some friends and doing school work. no big deal right? well my dad came out of his room to go outside for a smoke and saw me and said "hey, what are u doing on the computer?" (ever since i can remember our first computer hes always hated seeing me on it, i recall beeing in the 6th grade and asking to use it for a research paper and he got so mad that he picked up the monitor and threw it in my bedroom. now..back to what i was saying..he asked what i was doing and i said "school work, my bf lent me his internet port so i could do it" and he said "uh no u can do your work in your bedroom, i know you, you get distrated easily" and i said "im not dad, im just doin my school work and then ill get off, i'll only be another 15-20mins max and ill be done" and he said "well why cant you do it in your room?" and i said "its easier to do it this way, its faster" and he said "well i dont want you on MY computer, get off" and i said "i dont see what the problem is, everyones in bed and im doing school work, whats wrong with that?" and he said "idc i dont want you on it. GET OFF" and so i shut my book and tossed it up on the counter, and he easily assumed that i was throwing it even though he was standing 5 feet away and watched me. and said "dont cop an attitude with me" and i said "i just dont see what the big deal is" and at that point my mother came out and said "wth is going on?" then told us both to stop it, i pushed the computer chair back over to the desk (not hard i just put my hand on the back of it, pushed it and it BARELY tapped the desk, my dad looked at me and said "OH YOU WANNA SLAM SH**? LETS GO SLAM SH**!" and walked into my bedroom and tipped over my entertainment stand. and it broke alot of my things. at that point i cried and called my bf to pick me up (my mom offered to watch my daughter) and to get the hell out. and that was about 3 or 4 months ago. i havent talked to my dad since then...is it wrong to not talk to him even though hes a sadist *******? sometimes i feel bad but sometimes ill think of that night and they WAY he said things with such a snarky attitude, you could easily tell he wanted to start sh**. so......am i wrong? was he wrong?.....what should i do?(oh and just to be clear my mother is watching my daughter and i take her everyother weekend (her dad gets her on the other weekends) until me and my bf get a place next month)

I've been off my period for almost three weeks LMP was may 19th to 24th. I had sex. On the 24th when I got off then three more times since then on may 27th and 28th and last friday on june third. I have had headaches, moody, boobs been sore n tender, left side hurts and lower abdominal.. eating more and drinking a lot of fluids. I have had fevers here n there. I've had a lot of gas.. this has been going on since five days after my period. Im just wondering what it could be. I took a test negative,too early tho. I don't have stds neither does my partner and I don't use protection. I am suppose to start in a week.
